December 1995 Concert
The December 1995 Concert has become famous as the "Workshop Hall of Horrors" !
Not only did the heating fail in St John's Church Hall in Purbrook (it was just 12 degrees Celsius in the Hall), but the wall-mounted heaters kept fizzing and sparking all evening, resulting in a recording accompanied by endless raspberries...
Held on December 7th, we played to an audience of 73, and had 24 players. Needless to say, it was the last Concert to be held in Purbrook!
The Concert raised money that was split between St Wilfrid's Hospice and the National Asthma Campaign.
