Ebb Tide (Righteous Brothers)

Ebb Tide - Clarinet & Guitar

This is an evocative and moving piece that will delight any Concert audience!

Whether you know this as the powerful ballad sung by the Righteous Brothers, or the soundtrack behind the ludicrous Love Scene in Naked Gun 2 1/2, it's a charming piece with moving chords that are pleasingly straightforward to play.

The Guitar is tuned with 6=D and a Capo is required on fret 1 (moving the piece to the key of Eb, with the clarinet playing in the key of F).

In this edition, the clarinet part is provided in two versions, an octave apart. One is primarily in the Chalumeau register, and has a deep husky tone. The other is primarily in the Clarion register, which gives a more impressive crescendo, but is a little more tiring to play - you can choose the one you prefer!

I've also arranged this music for other instrumentation, each in different but closely related key to this one, using Capos for the woodwind arrangements - same guitar part, different key for each woodwind arrangement.
