Originally for piano, my arrangement of Olafur Arnald's wonderful piece is for flute and guitar.
It is straightforward for both players, yet captures the gentle, haunting music - the tone and sustain of the flute and the warmth of the guitar add a further dimension to this elegant piece.
The standard is mid-way between early intermediate and intermediate for both players - the flute part reaches top E (3 ledger lines up), so control is needed to avoid the sound becoming too shrill.
Any audience will really enjoy this piece!
