This is a glorious and uplifting piece that will delight any Christmas Concert audience!
My arrangement of this joyously upbeat Christmas piece follows the key of the original, but orchestrated to suit classical (or acoustic) guitar.
Guitar 1 takes the tune most of the time, and reaches up to fret 14 in the uplifting chorus.
Guitars 2 and 3 have a rhythmic accompaniment, but they also provide musical contrast in the middle voice, where each takes a verse down low - be sure the accompaniment up high doesn’t mask out the melody here!
Guitar 4 is tuned down to 6=D and has the 3:3:2 rhythm that gives this piece its real sense of fun.
Ideal for an intermediate quartet or large ensemble.
