This delightful Concerto, originally for 2 violins and cello, plus string chamber orchestra and keyboard fits well on 3 guitars, and includes the famous Adagio.
I've raised the pitch of all the movements by one tone, so that we're in friendly keys and this makes the cello line (Guitar 3) much more faithful to the original.
There are some glorious suspensions and echoes to enjoy for players and audience alike.
The top two parts can be played up the neck for a glorious tone, or mainly in first position for those with less experience.
- I've also produced a string quartet version
- In addition, I've arranged the famous Adagio to suit an early intermediate guitar trio
