Tchaikovsky's Chanson Triste - originally for piano - makes a lovely reflective concert piece, and gives an intermediate ensemble wonderful opportunities to incorporate articulation and off-the-beat playing in return for hearing lovely chromatic harmonies which are all under the fingers.
The standard is intermediate. Guitar 3 is tuned to 6=D, and Guitars 2 and 3 are in two voices.
