As Long As He Needs Me - Guitar Duet

This charming melody is another fine example of the craftsmanship of Lionel Bart. It features in the film and stage show "Oliver" and is a delightful, haunting yet uplifting piece of music.

My arrangement for guitar duet is straightforward and under-the-fingers; it makes a lovely piece for a concert. The second guitar part uses the sixth string down to D and this gives a depth and sustain that supports the slow melody.
