"Professor T (TV Theme) - Guitar duet

This captivating melody is the theme music to the UK TV program Professor T.

My arrangements for two guitars are moved to a guitar-friendly key where the chord shapes will seem instantly familiar. And the piece is presented in two accessible arrangements that feel comfortable for both players. In one arrangement the roles of tune and accompaniment are fixed; in the other, the roles reverse when the music is repeated. The notes are identical.

First things first - the original is very, very short. Its job is to underpin a few credits and then get out of the way.

To play the entirety of the original, choose the “fixed parts” version and just play the second time bar.

But an audience in a concert deserves a little more than a TV audience waiting for the music to shut up and the action to start, hence I’ve sneaked a repeat of the music to make a satisfying listen.

In the “fixed parts” version, there are first and second time bars.

In the “swapping parts” version, there’s a seamless transition of roles between verses.
