Charleston Ye Tarriers - Guitar Trio

So what would have happened if the workmen in “Drill Ye Tarriers” fancied dancing the Charleston? Let's find out!

Here's a fun piece for players and audience alike - the traditional “Drill Ye Tarriers” is set in 3 parts with a suitably sombre accompaniment. But then things take a turn when everyone puts down their pick and shovel and dances the Charleston.

Making the tune fit was a tall task and it may have got much more cheerful but also a little damaged in the process.

Guitar 3 is supplied in both treble and bass clefs - in a larger ensemble, you can use one or both in your ensemble. And it’s ideal for those with limited experience of guitar.
