So what would have happened if a Whistling Gypsy Rover stumbled on a Haunted House in the middle of the Greenwood. Let's find out!
Here's a fun piece for players and audience alike - the traditional Folk Song "Whistling Gypsy Rover" is set in 3 parts with an almost fugal chorus - all very pastoral and pleasant. But then things take a turn when the rover explores a Haunted House.
Guitar 1 is the tune, and the two verses are in the major and minor keys..
Guitar 3 is supplied in both treble and bass clefs - in a larger ensemble, you can use one or both in your ensemble, though the trills in Guitar 3 aren't effective on deep bass and I've replaced them by plain bass notes. And it’s ideal for those with limited experience of guitar.
