June 23rd saw something very special - our 100th concert and a chance to meet with Cambridge Guitar Orchestra again, at St George's Portsea

It's not that easy getting a "Congratulations on your 100th concert" card, but this is great - our MD can rub out the amendments and re-use it on his 100th birthday - not that long to wait, actually :-)
As 100th birthday cards go, the phrase "to help you on your way" does seem to have two meanings!

Our first concert in the autumn was at Hythe United Reformed Church - our third visit, and we've already been invited back in March 2014!
Our concert in Bedhampton on October 13th raised over £700 for the charity Canine Partners - our thanks to Havant Rotary Club for hosting the event.
On October 26th we opened the second act of The Loyal Variety Performance - a fund-raising concert hosted by ventriloquist Steve Hewlett, and dedicated to the memory of Joyce Brown, herself a keen fund-raiser for The Kings restoration.
The concert raised £2000, split between the Portsmouth Brain Tumour charity and the Kings Restoration fund
The Kings Theatre - a restored Edwardian Playhouse in Southsea, and venue for The Loyal Variety Performance in October
