Brief Study Notes

Are you a teacher looking for something which will work first time for Christmas?

This piece is a wonderful way to close a Christmas Concert, because the words are so apt. I've arranged this in three major parts, plus another 5 countermelodies. We usually introduce one line at a time, starting with the tune, so that the piece develops like a Bach Fugue.

My Workshop players play this in their Christmas Charity Concerts. Visit their website at guitar-workshop.org.uk. The Concert, in aid of Headway, was enjoyed by an audience of 133 and raised £740 for the Portsmouth Charity.
