Brief Study Notes

Though the words are well-known, there are a variety of tunes to which this carol is sung.
This is the traditional UK version - it might be unfamiliar to you, so do try it out - it's delightful.
 
To add variety, I suggest the parts are rotated each verse - they are of comparable difficulty. There is just a hint of an almost fugal entry (denoted by accents) in each part in turn in the second section. Enjoy this interesting twist to an old UK favourite tune.
