Leaving aside for the moment possible jokes about Mandolines in the Kitchen, I thought it would be nice to share just a couple of my favourite (or favorite, if you must) recipes with you.
For long and tortuous reasons, I don't currently eat meat, but I do eat fish. Provided it doesn't look at me from the plate.
For shorter and less tortuous reasons, English Cuisine is famous for being non-existent.
Notwithstanding this hugely disadvantageous start, coming up are some of my favourites. If I can't invite you over for dinner, then the next best is surely for you to see what I would have plonked in front of you, if you had come round ...
Cue another joke ... I suppose if I serve you up some vegetarian food, it might well be called "Oat Cuisine..."
Anyway - here we go ...
Under Construction - more coming soon!
Lentil Lasagne - a tasty and filling main course
Risotto - a colourful and satisfying main meal
And definitely British - a side dish ...
Yorkshire Pudding - that quintessentially English addition to Roast Beef.
