St John's Church Hall Purbrook
Until the chaos caused by over-running refurbishment, a price hike and a subsequent loss of parking for almost an entire academic year, hago rehearsals (and those of our Musical Director's Ensemble Workshop) took place in St John's Church Hall, Purbrook.
Saying Goodbye
Our MD's Guitar Workshop used the Hall from late 1988-early 1999 right round till June 2006, and hago met there from our inaugural rehearsal in February 1999 round till June 2006.
And then, because of the second bout of disruption in 12 months, it was time to break our association with what, until then, had always been home.
hago now meets at Lovedean Village Hall - a well-appointed, warm, affordable venue.
