About the Church of the Resurrection Drayton
Situated not far from Havant and Cosham in a quiet residential backstreet on the slopes of Portsdown Hill, the Church is easy to reach by bus and car. There is a frequent bus service from Havant and Portsmouth - the nearest stop is a 3-minute walk from the Church, and the bus passes by the nearest rail stations - Havant (on the London and Brighton line) and Cosham (on the Southampton line).
There is plenty of on-street parking; we're sure that audiences will ensure that residents' driveways are clear.
Accessibility
The Church has level access for wheelchairs, and wheelchair users come to many of the Concerts held here.
The venue has become a popular choice for the Portsmouth Music Festival.

Arriving by train or bus
Travelling from the East and North, the nearest station is Bedhampton, but Havant offers a more frequent service and has a bus depot that is a short walk south from Havant Station.
Travelling from the South and West, the nearest station is Cosham. There is a bus depot close to the station.
At the time of preparing this web page (December 2003), the 23 bus service will drop you there - it calls close to both stations. Alight at the western edge of Drayton shops.

Head along the A27 trunk road.
As you pass the A3M junction, the road widens into four lanes. Take the leftmost lane and after half a mile, leave by the slip road and turn right at
the large roundabout.
After approximately two miles there
are shops on both sides of the road. As the shops peter out, turn right into Penrhyn Avenue or (if you miss that), next right into Penarth Avenue.
Arriving by car from Southampton and the West ...
Head along the M27. When it becomes the A27 keep to the left. Take the next exit (signed A2030 Portsmouth) and turn left at the end of the sliproad.
