About All Saints Church
The Church was built in 1880, in gothic style, in a traditional Hampshire style of flint relieved with red brick. In 1996, the Church was extended and is now home to a regular season of concerts each year.
The interior, built out from the North Aisle has unusual inset windows and a very light and spacious feel. The seating is unusual too - padded pews - with excellent visibility and a resonant acoustic that is ideal for concerts.
Travel directions
Denmead is some little way into open countryside, and car or taxi are the only realistic ways to reach the Church from any distance away.
Arriving by car
Denmead is not far from the A3M, which provides access from the North, and from the east/west A27, a few miles to the South.
Leave the motorway at Junction 3, and head west, following the signs to Waterlooville. Pass straight over a roundabout at the bottom of a slope, and head up a gentle rise on a dual carriageway. At the top there are some traffic lights, and shortly afterwards a roundabout - bear left and take the outside lane, ready to bear right at the following roundabout onto the B2150. From here the road is signed Denmead, which is 2-3 miles along the road. The Church is on the right.
