Our Musical Director, Derek Hasted, was born in Erith.
That makes him a Kentish Man, not a Man of Kent.
What are we talking about?
It's simple - a Kentish Man is born on the West side of the River Medway, and a Man of Kent is born on the East.
Fortunately, Hampshire doesn't seem split down the middle quite so much!
