Meet my Workshop

I've told you how much fun there is in Ensemble Guitar Playing. How do I know?
Here's my proof! This photo was taken at one of our Workshops

Guitars as far as the eye can see!
Workshop welcomes new members. Interested? There's more information on my Guitar Workshop website

My Guitar Workshop began in 1988 as a natural progression to structured Classical lessons. We have one aim in mind - to play Guitar for the sheer enjoyment of playing.

Workshop runs alongside my structured solo lessons, meeting once a fortnight. Except when we are working towards a Concert, practice at home needn't include ensembles - time at home is for solo skills. Workshop thrives partly because our music is suitable for sightreading, and partly because sightreading helps players develop. Most pieces have parts that present challenges at a variety of levels. As players progress and new players join, my more experienced guitarists can choose more complex lines, or play in higher positions.
